Im making my first trip to Cali here very soon (already got the tickets!) anyway part of the reason Ive always dated/been attracted to asians and latinas here in the states is they tend to be on shorter side then most AW and also arent to hung up on height. Im 5'5. Is this any issue with the women down there from the guys that have been there and observed? Id also like to point out (like any guy insecure about his height would) that I am short dark and handsome and 2 out of 3 aint bad! lol!

Hi,

Cali is a great place to find women as long as you are not willing to "look up" to women.  If you are unconfortable about size, she will be too. There are many ladies in the petite range.  One thing to keep in mind. Most of the ladies wear those two inch high platform type shoes, so unless you want to look a little silly, stick to the chicks that are 5'3" and less.

I'm also 5'5" and it's never been an issue in my search. There are plenty of shorter women in Colombia. My fiance is 5'3". All of our body parts fit nicely together! That wouldn't be the case with a 6' lady.

The way I look at it, the lady is going to let go of a tremendous amount of security that she has in her home country with her family. She wants a man who is a good provider, who will love her, who will respect her and who will make her feel special. If you exude that, without bragging about whatever material stuff you have, any lady would be dumb to get fixated on height. You won't have any problems in that department.

This is another of the great things about Colombianas.I'm 5'7" and in the US a guys gets seriously discounted for being short.It seems like most of the really hot women here want a guy over 6 ft.,or over 6"2".Even the women who are 5"2".It seems like a daddy complex,but why waste time trying to figure it out when there is a simple solution,Colombia.First of all,people are not that tall in Colombia.5'10" is a tall Colombiano.5'7" is medium height
(wow,the changes 3000 miles will get you).Maybe 2% of the guys are over 6ft.compared to maybe 40% here.
Plus,the women have such a hard time finding a good man they are not about to let an issue like that eliminate a
possible husband.
Its a paradise for short(here) guys who have high expectations in what they want in a woman.
Funny thing,when I was going through the books at Latin Love height was one of my issues.I wanted a woman shorter than me.5'2" is ideal in my mind.I was eliminating women over 5'5",but there were so few women that met my other criteria that I went back and looked again up to 5'7".My wife listed herself as 5'6" and that was a negative to me,but when I met her I knew she was nowhere near 5'6".She is actually 5'2 3/4".They measure in metrics down there and
are not real good at conversion.
There are many many advantages to Colombianas.Their attitudes,their affection,their care of appearance.  I like their looks.I like tanned looking skin(I tell my wife women here go to tanning booths to look like her),and I love those nice bubble butts.Last Christmas I was walking through Chipi Chapi(Cali shopping mall)with my wife and a Colombian friend.We walked by a womans store where they had a manikin with  padded butt panties.My wife pointed it out and I told her she didn't need them.Then I told my Colombian friend I would have been really disapointed if she had taken off a pair off those on our wedding night.He laughed like hell.She wanted to know what I said so we told her.
I will leave those tall white skinned Russians to someone else,as well as those looking for daddy American women.

I was talking to an old man one day when I was kid. He told me two things I've never forgot. The first thing was that most of the time, in the life, some people see problems where there is no problem and then it become really a problem. The second thing was that people fail in the life when they try to guess what other person may be thinking instead of asking straight question and get the right answer.
    Putting this together, my advice is that when you are looking for your soulmate, you don't have to start thinking if the girl will reject you because you are short or tall; small or fat; black, white or yellow;rich or poor. By doing this, you are creating a problem to yourself where there is not a problem. The second thing is that the conclusions you may come up with are not right because it will come from your thinking process and not from the girl's head.
    So, the best way to do it is just to go there, to meet the girl, to explain clearly your problem and to wait for an answer. If the girl refuse, you don't have to be mad because at that time, your job of asking the girl to be your soulmate and her job of refusing will be done. Problem free!Remember that in the relationship, not only the man is choosing but the girl also. Why can I be emotionally affected after a refusal since I did my job and the girl also her job?
    It's not uncommon to see in the life an ugly guy married to a very pretty woman and an handsome guy married to a very ugly woman. Everything come from how someone is confident about himself. This has been my principle and I keep applying it everywhere and in each domain it's possible. So far, the number of success is very high compared to the number of failures.

Don't worry about how tall you are. The genuine chica's in Cali will like you for you and what's in your heart. The chica's in Cali want a man that will respect them, love them, protect them and care for them. Get down there, keep your eyes open, use your head twice as much as your heart and have fun. from my experiences with colombianas, they are not as hung up on height as the gringas are. don't expect to be dating colombianas 5'8"and above but a colombiana your height and even slightly taller is less likely to make it a big deal of it. just make sure YOU'RE not hung up on your height, a woman doesn't like a man to be insecure.
