You meet alot of great guys from all over the U.S. And you learn from them the latest info from their MOB journeys. Every guy has his own theory on what will work and what won't. It provides for alot of interesting talk and networking. The Friday and Saturday night parties, depending on the city, can be a challenging to over-whelming experience. Some guys do it well..others not so well. It's not uncommon for a shy guy to meet only 1 or 2 serious female candidates during the whole affair. Whereas another guy will work the floor like a pro and walk away with dozens of contacts. I hear Cali draws 600-700 ladies over two nights whereas other cities draw 300-450 overall. In Panama there were 30 guys and 120 ladies Friday and 160 Saturday. The two night parties are similar to a prom night atmosphere. Both the men and women get excited. Alot of the women are young and only show up for the photo-shoot and then leave. There are alot of distractions because of the music, large number of people, low lighting, and alcohol, so that one has to have his wits to maximize his opportunities. It's an expensive affair. TLC is not cheap. The owner Bruce is a pretty good guy. The pool party is alot of fun but if you didn't find someone special on Friday or Saturday then you just hang out with a few of the unattached lovelies that show up pool-side. I love the fun and excitement of it all but truthfully for the buck I believe one can better maximize one's productivity at an introduction agency where one can pre-qualify and pre-screen the ladies and meet and talk in a quiet and contolled atmosphere. But of course for the guy who mets his fiance and wife at a TLC tour they're the greatest!! I have loved every TLC tour that I've been on and I'd go to many more if I had the money. But in my final analysis it is a challenging experience at best. The first five women you meet may have 2 or 3 children!! Bruce's advice on how to work the floor is pretty solid but in the thick of things it's more difficult for me to stay on course. I see a pretty face and legs and boom! I'm off and running! LOL. You can't beat it for pure unadulterated fun. For finding a wife....be smart and keep moving until you see a serious prospect. Of course you have to hope she didn't see you with another lady on the dance floor. They tend to be jealous as I'm sure you already know.
