Nine months ago I had no trouble placing a call to Cuba from the US. Then due to a political/legal dispute between the two countries, Cuba terminated direct access to its telecom infrastructure. I was no longer able to get a call through.
I heard that calls will go through now, but I could not get mine through today. Does anyone know if there is a way I can place a call to Cuba?
By the way, I can and do receive collect calls from Cuba. But I rarely accept them because they cost me more than $7/minute.
