For those who follow these things, JunFan(Mike)posted the following on another forum........

"We went down to San Antonio this past weekend for the wedding of Houndog and LE, who are from Houston. Pretty simple wedding but it was nice."

I'm sure we all wish them happiness and peace.

Houndog, if you are reading this, I wish you and your lady all the love & happiness in the world.

Despite your, uh, highly opinionated nature, I always respected your wisdom in all things Latina and miss your prickly-pear presence around here.

Felicitaciones, amigo!

I for one miss Hounds presence here. He helped me a great deal with his advice and I will say that without it I most likely would not have been sucessful in my search.

Both HD and Junfan used to bash San Antonio. I guess it worked out as a central place as it is just about halfway between Dallas and Houston. Any sign of Elvis;-)

Rafael,
As a guy who used to travel to Texas on business,I thought San Antonio and Austin were the best places.Just the opinion of an occassional visitor.
Halfway in between? Not really but probably closer than they were to each other in Dallas and Houston.

I can make it to Dallas in maybe 3.5 hours, Houston maybe 4.5, pretty central to me. If HD was coming from Houston and JunFan and Larry S from Dallas, it makes sense to meet in SA.
