America Travel had good prices but my peeve with them is that they're not willing to deliver plane tickets to my office and I'm not interested in waiting for FedEX to show up at my house or worrying about the ticket getting lost. ABS Travel made me fax them copies of my driver's license and credit card but they were quite willing to mail tickets to my office. Plus, they'll match America Travel's prices so I go with ABS.
ABS Travel has lower prices if you book online.
It's interesting to note that consolidators like ABS and America Travel that do lots of business in Colombia often can get you better prices than Orbitz, cheaptickets.com,
travelocity ...
Also, I don't believe Orbitz covers airlines like Lacsa/TACA which have lower prices, although, from SF, having to go through El Salvador and Costa Rica to get to Bogota has gotten old after just doing it twice. For my next trip I'm flying American (SFO--Miami--Bogota). I've had bad experiences with Lacsa (they decided I had canceled my reservation) and I know of several other people who have as well. So, since I can afford an extra couple of hundred bucks to try a different airline and a different route that's what I'm gonna do!
