next day im told that two of my choices are not available but i have two appts later that day. i'm also told that two more gringos are coming in on friday Ken and cali-vet im glad cause this place is just to quiet for me. i decide to use the first part of my day to check out some agencies around town and to buy a bike for a very special little boy . ( i'll give a brief explanation)
my first trip to cali in 1997 was to see one girl we'll call her L . i met L through latin euro. to make a very long story short L and i have been in a on off , hot cold relationship for over 3 years. we have been engaged twice and she broke it off twice because she feels i am to slow to decide and commit to marriage. the fact is everytime i fall for her and am ready to move red flags start popping up so i back away which angers her and she calls it off. back and forth we go for almost four years now.the last time i had spoken with her in march this year she had once again called it off.so upon arriving in cali i assumed we were not a pair.
i still find my self thinking of her . she also has a excellent little boy and we are the best of friends i decided he needed a bike so with the help of maritza at latin internet i was given a address downtown where i could get a good deal on a bike. i went to the store bought the bike and had it delivered to him that morning.
caught a cab to the north side and began checking out the agencies. first latin encounters i wanted to see my friend margaretshe wasnt there when i arrived . something happened then that turned me off a little one of the girls that works there sat beside me and started giving me a sales pitch trying to get me to reactivate my membership . i explained to her that i wasnt interested i just came by to say hi to my old friend margareth. she persisted...little bit of a turnoff felt like i was in a car dealership. i was about ready to leave when margareth came in , hugs and kisses and then margareth invited me to a party that night and the next night i accepted . oh by the way i saw Larry in dallas photo with his lovely bride on the board that guy sure has a big smile ...looks like the happiest guy in the world! the place looks about the same as i remembered it except now they have a nice waterfall in the yard. said my goodbyes and headed down the street to Latin models agency ( ed beckwiths new agency ).
walked into latin models and was greeted by my old friend Margoth with hugs and kisses. one of the models was there at the time whew!!! tall ,long black hair, hour-glass figure...nice! we talked awhile she showed me around the office...very niceplace. handed me one of the photo books ...all nice!!! in came another old friend from the Latin connection days Lorenna . we all talked awhile i said my goodbyes more hugs and kisses and im out the door.
walked down the street stopped in a small cafe had a bite to eat . caught a cab back to latin internet for my 2nd and 3rd appointments. more story tommorow!
