Colombia 2-0 Honduras
Copa America semi-final
Colombia went Copa crazy as the host nation reached Sunday night's final against Mexico in the match of the tournament so far.
Early organisational problems and the withdrawal of Argentina were finally forgotten as Colombia turned on the style against giantkillers Honduras, who had sensationally knocked out Brazil in the quarter-finals.
Deportivo Cali defender Gerardo Bedoya set the party underway with a stunning 20-yard drive with his left-foot that flew into the top corner.
The home side hit the woodwork and created several other near-misses before the outstanding Victor Aristazabal turned sharply to fire in his side's second. It was his sixth goal of the Copa, taking him ahead of Costa Rica's Paulo Wanchope to become the tournament's leading scorer.
Colombia have reached the final without conceding a goal and are now favorites to become the kings of the Americas.
