An idea to give the homebound/somewhat homebound wives something to do after the cleaning, excersizeing , and watching of TV Novelas has passed. Just kiddin...sorta..LOL..
Not far from our house is an Arts & Crafts Center...I took my wife there a few weeks ago and again earlier today. This store, as most, has a huge variety of products for just about any art or decorating type projects one can imagine. I accompanied her while she spent a couple of hours carefully loading up on all the artsy fartsy things that she wanted, to do a variety of projects for gifts and for the home. My wife has been enjoying turning the house into our home and with all the arts & crafts projects she now has the oppurtunity to give things her own personal artistic touch. She has been doing plenty of gardening also, but inside projects gives a way to keep herself busy doing things she likes indoors as well as out. She loves creating and adding her artistic flavor to everything she can, but I'm sure almost all women, given the chance love to create and decorate.
Hopefully this Tip will be helpful to some of you with wives and fiancees newly in the US.
