Here is something that hopefully won't happen to you. My friend, David, who went with me to Colombia for my reception woke up this morning with a tough pill to swallow. When we were at the Prado in BQ, the 'Hennessy Girl' who worked promoting Hennessy at the bar and David had flirted since we got there and you could tell she liked him. She had given him her number and even got us in a great club on Saturday night. It looked like he might have had a shot at her. Yes, things looked rather promising for my fellow gringo, until.....HE GOT GREEDY! He has Olga on one side of him, the Hennessy girl on the other, with many other good looking Colombianas all around. What did he do?...He couldn't make up his mind and concentrate on only one woman. This was sure to seal his fate. Remember, there is always a better looking woman....somewhere in the world. Be happy and don't get greedy
I was talking to Beatriz today and she told me that the very same girl who had worked the bar at the Prado, won the Miss Barranquilla contest this past Saturday and will be competing in Ms Colombia in Bogota in August.
He'll be kicking himself for a long time on this one...
