Guys, I have been lurking here a couple months, thought it was time to chime in after getting to know and really like reading your posts.

I have traveled to Colombia, Venezsuela, Costa Rica, Spain, Dominican Republic several times, and Brazil 5 times, and will be going somewhere later this month. Have not decided yet if it will be Colombia or Brazil.

Some background on myself, I gave American women the boot in 1990 and never looked back, it was not a bad marriage or relationship or anything like that. I just(as many of you are) am extemely attracted to latina women. Also living in the Washington DC area, they are everywhere.

If I were to comment on the differences between the women that I encountered in my travels to the above countries it would go like this.

As far as the best looking, I would say Colombia edges out Brazil for the top spot. Best body, that would go to Brazil, demeanor(on this one I am rolling friendliness, attitude, and overall ability to strike up a conversation into this) Brazil wins again.

Which leaves us character, truthfulness, and culture, now this is a tuff one to answer. On character and truthfulness, I must have been lucky but the girls/women I met from all LA countries grade high there ( to close to call). On culture their is a difference with brazil, compared to the LA countries, with brazilian women/people being more open minded, no hang ups about showing affection, showing off thier bodies, or sex. (as in canival)I mean this in a fun way.

Bottom line, from many of the posts here, Brazilian women might be to over the edge for some of you, but I find them very hard to match. There is no friendlier women on the planet.

Thanks again for all your wonderful, informative posts, and feel free to ask any questions.

Steve

when I travelled around brazil (7 years ago) up in the north in  Receife was the place to go. I met several girls from around there and even went out with a brazilian girl who went travelling with me. This is probably one of the reasons I am attracted to latin American girls !

Oh and when I went no one spoke english (not even the help desk at Sao Paulo international airport !!!)

yeh, i have some questions please. do you speak portugese as well as you speak spanish? did you have a difficult time transitioning to portugese if you learned spanish first?

what areas of brazil do you recommend, and not recommend?

are you interested in bringing a brazilian lady home with you, and if so, how willing are they to leave brazil? i live in south fla., and see a lot of ladies here, but the impression i get is the are very devoted to their country and not willing to leave permenently.

thanks for the informative post! also, what is you opinion of venezuelan ladies compared to columbian?

thanks again!!!!!

Bret,

As far as speaking Portuguese, I only speak enough to get by, and I am not fluent in spanish, but understand and can speak enough. I think if you know spanish somewhat, Portugese is easier to pick up, many , many similar words.

If you want a quick method to learn some spanish or portuguese, I would reccomend a book by Bilingual Books Inc, called Portuguese in 10 minutes a day. (they also have one for spanish and others)Very easy methodology to learn.

As for areas, no question about it, RIO all the way, Rio is awesome, not to expensive, very beautiful, and great looking, friendly women everywhere. I stay in a part of Rio called Barra, which is sort of an upscale area. You will not find a more beautiful place to meet women anywhere.

Barra has great malls(most even better than in the US)many great restuarants(they even have two Outback Steakhouses) and many, many clubs with tons of women. This is a middle class area.

As far as bringing a lady to the US, Brazilian women love the US, and would be very willing to move to the US. I was dating a Brazilian girl, who has a sister that lives in southern CA, she came to CA to see her sister and meet me in Calabasas, CA. We had a great time, we did the whole LA thing (Hollywood, Santa Monica, the works).

You said you live in So FL, I got to tell you there are tons of Brazilians in So FL., plus fleights out of Miami are the best deals out there.

Having been to both Venezsuela and Colombia, the girls in Colombia seemed more friendly to me and easier to strike up a conversation with.

Are you planning a trip to Brazil ?

Steve

Hi Brian,

This "company" is part of LatinEuro, and it is unclear what is what.  You will see the same photos on both sites.  I have ordered from them, and they are legitimate, in spite of this confusing business practice.

I met(corresponded) with some women whose addresses I got from this service, and you will get a mixed bag of results.  I don't think they do any screening of women other than to post the ones that they think will sell.  Also, for the same reason, I am pretty certain (again based on correspondence) that addresses may not always be removed promptly, so this will also affect your prospects.

In spite of all that, I think it is a good value, from my personal results/experience.  I got about a 20% response rate, and met several women that I think are very nice.

You'll probably get little feedback on questions about any place other than Colombia.  Don't let that disuade you though.  It's just because there's been way more guys going to Colombia than any other place so there's much more collective experience there.  It doesn't mean it's a better (or worse) place, just that it's a different place.  Maybe you can become the local Latin board Brazil expert after you've been there and gotten to know the scene.

They are associated with LatinEuro Introductions(http://www.latineuro.com/).  I am considering ordering addresses from them myself.  I have contacted them via email to ask a few questions.  They responded within about 24hrs.  Should you find any info, please let me know.
