Here's some Cali info that may be usefull to others which for some reason took me years to find out: there is a hotel, Hotel Aeropuerto on the upstairs floor of the airport oppsite end from Koko Rico restaurant and the bookstore that costs under $35. There are minibuses that leave the airport about every 15 minutes that cost $1.50 for the trip to the Cali bus terminal. They pull up in front of the exit for NATIONAL flights. This is all the way down on your right as you exit the airport. Just ask the driver "terminal?" to be sure. From the terminal you can take a taxi, they line up in front, to Ciudad Jardin (Latin-inter, Crystal Palace etc.) for 6 or 7 thousand pesos or $3-3.50. I'm not reccomending this for guys arriving on the AA 7:42PM flight as it's a little bit late at night to mess with but there might be other occasions. It seems to me the agency taxi drivers are really starting to sock it to us for the airport trip and I like to stay at the airport hotel the night before my departure so I don't have to get up so early to catch the 7AM return flight. I can just shower and walk down stairs and get on line.

Thank you brah!  My wife and I are looking for a different place for our vacation in the winter.  Since we are experts in Champeta, we look forward to reading more on the website.
Thanks again!
