hey guys,
I think I remember reading about some hotels near the embassy that some of your fiances/wives have stayed while in Bogota for their interview.  My girl will be going soon and I think I am going to send her sister with her so she will be more comfortable during that period, which very well could be her most stressful moment to date.

Anywayz, any of you guys have some suggestions for me?  The most important things would be safety, proximity to Embassy, and no more than say $100/night....Bueller? ... Anyone?

Thanks in advance,
Mike

Sorry Mike,
The first phone number for the Hotel Casa Embajada should be
011 571 572 0260 from USA

Hotel Casa Embajada
Calle 22e no. A97
Tel 011 571 0260
or      244 5476
This hotel is across the A. Embassy and there is a mall about 10 minutes by taxi. About 5 minutes from airport.
My novia checked on this and I think she said 80 or 88,000
pesos a night. Very safe.
She also checked on another near the embassy about the same price but with breakfast.Don't remember the name, sorry.
My Novia should here in US in couple days. I'll ask her if someone else doesn't come up with the name.
I also sent her sister with her, since my novia was scared to death of Bogota. The A.Embassy took 3 days to process the k1 visa.
Regards,
Rico
