... in response to Re: Colombian Food Recipes, posted by SteveB on Jun 29, 2001a rather sharp contrast to the American traditional stuffing (which I like as well). during my second Thanksgiving in PR my Swiss friends (who were chefs) had a party and I volunteered to do the turkey (which at the time meant my girlfriend would do it) she seasoned ground beef and added raisins and olives. it was really quite good. I can't recall if they used raisin in rice but latin cuisine is quite varied and they use some interesting combinations of food.
you won't find many peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
