Greetings: Anybody know what percentage of Cartagena babes are dark-skinned? I saw a tourist ad where the women they showed looked 75-100% Negroid. Is this the norm? Also any recommendations on clubs, bars to hang out? Thanks in advance.

Hey there,
I would'nt say they are 75% black, but they are definately darker....I have seen just about every shade of woman in Cartagena from fair skinned & red headed to black, but it is true the women from these two cities are darker, on average. Remember, Cartagena was Spain's largest offshore port and a hub for the slave trade. So, you have a multitude of combinations...Spainards, Africans & the local Colombians. That mix can produce some very attractive skin tones. The other reason the women are darker is because these are two coastal towns basically on the equator...that sun is strong as sh$t down there.

Clubs....Mr Babilla, Plastilina & Dos Candelas are all sure things.

Later,
Mike
