Last night I finally got to read your story at Mag posted October last year and realized the difference of the "old Shadow" Dave talks about and the Shadow I have come to know in the past few weeks.
Barely 20 (!!) hrs. since I read that post...and now, reading your post with all the bitterness and pain.
I do not blame you one bit but in the same breath would like to echo Carrisse's statement that it is unfair for anyone to view all Filipinos as you do now.
There are some things that we never want to let go of...people we never want to leave behind; but keep in mind that letting go is not the end of the world, but rather it is the beginning of a new life.
I wish you can begin to live again.....love again...for without love, we can never achieve peace in our heart.
