The update is, no trace of the five men has been found.
They've been missing since 18 Dec 02. Three Dutchmen and two Filipino fishermen set out for Apo Island from Siquijor on a small banca and never returned.
There is a website that I found with the whole story and lots of pics. I post it because it has some good Philippines pics (scroll halfway down for the Coral Cay cottages and Apo pics) and because of the distant chance that someone who may have found a piece of the boat or something may turn up, thus bringing comfort to the families of the men.
