Earlier this week I rented some videos yust for the fun on it to pass the boredom while the Government takes their time in getting my wifes immigration papers approved.

Honey and I chat so much I have gotten to where i just excpect things to work.

Well, the apartment I live in decided to offer free cable.  I have a TV card in my computer so I took a few minutes to set up the channels - I don't know why I never watch TV.  Well the video program I was watching switched from the camera to the TV and Honey could see it.  Wow!! I thought it was great.  I turned the TV to Star Wars and told her to get her family.  The kids were scared do they left the room (imagine being scared of Star Wars?)  So I told her to get her brothers and I put "Lady and the Tramp 2" Video in the VCR.

I can't share my popcorn (hehe) but I can share a movie with her.  We can watch the same things (if I can find anything on I want to see).

The future is here.

I don't know what you did  but it sounds pretty cool.  Watch out for the FCC and those Scarry FBI warnings that preface all Videos ha ha ha.  Intercontinental video pirating or some thing like that could get you 5 to 10 living with your new cellmate bubba ha ha ha.  I am glad that they are enjoying them but soon they may request that you find Tagalog videos  ha ha ha   I assume that they exist.

I'm pretty sure that there is no FCC violation to watch a video since I rented it.  Why would it matter who watched with me and where?  Its like in the old days cable companies tried to charge you for every tv in ur house so if you paid for cable and split it to different rooms it was considered illegal.  But the Supreme cvourt found that the person who split it acted in good faith by paying and eliminated all extra TV chgarges.

I think it is awesome.  Today she wanted to watch Voyager and SG-1 (StarGate Team #1) with me.  I can also show her family the news here and I think I will send her a TV card so she can show me her newss there and after she moves here we will still leave the computer there and so she can see her local programing if we so choose.  Probably not much though because neither of us like too much TV.  I do like letting the kids see Disney movies though.

I would have to look but I believe that there is something to the effect about rebroadcasting, particularly to another group.
