I'm trying to get the AOS paperwork together and I don't have my W-2s from three years ago. Is this even a factor to consider?Huh Are W-2s even a factor??? Thanks for any answers!!

We just finished up the AOS process.  We only submitted my last 3 years of income tax filing.....no W-2 forms because I am self-employed.  We have had no problems.

In fact, things have gone remarkably smooth.  Don't look for problems.

Best wishes.....

This is for my I-134, but have been told Manila may also want I-864. I assume your answers are the same?? Thanks, FL

They want the 134 form.  That also only needs 1 year of Tax returns, but I sent a signed 864 and 3 years in case Tess needed it.

Fl,

The past 3 years tax returns are mandatory, but I don’t think the W-2s are an absolute must for the I-864. The proof of current income (employer letter/recent pay stub) or assets are probably the determining factor for qualifying.

Read the I-864 instructions at:
