... in response to don't jump to conclusions!!!, posted by cc on Feb 18, 2001

CC,

You are jumping to conclusions!!!

Red wrote "the only thing is that her sister lives and works in Japan..and is there on what i believe is a 2 year work contract..".

It sounded to me like he didn't know what she was doing overthere so I wrote the following:

"Are You sure that You know what the sister is doing in Japan??? Try looking in the archives for a thread about 1-2 months old discussing foreign women working in Japan!"

I DID NOT MAKE ANY CONCLUSIONS because there are no conclusions to be made from what little data is available!!!
I merely pointed out some information, which I believe Red should read.

You were making conclusions, based on the archived thread, and then You jump at me, because You feel that I should not point Red towards this information...That sounds like censorship to me...

I trust Red to take all of the info that he can get his hands on(Including perhaps visiting this girl) and then making an informed decision... How can anyone make an informed decision, if they are not allowed to have any information to base it on!

regards,

Hi Andy, my post was actually in response to "burl", I realized my mistake as soon as I posted it and probably should have corrected it. I didn't mean to "jump" at you - your advice for "Red" to read the past messages is perfectly proper of course, even though I disagree with some (not all) what was said there...

I think Red was asking a question of if it would be difficult to marry a woman who was from vietnam and working in Japan.
I really don''t think he asked for advise on what anyone believes his girlfriend is doing in Japan.
I am sorry   if this upsets anyone, but I think we are here to help eachother out with info on obtaining a visa. It seems to me that lately very little info is being given out here on visa knowledge. Posts from trolls get more feedback than actual inquiries on obtaining a visa.....Lori

I know this sight is more than just info about visa's. We come here also to support eachother through the long wait. And that's a good thing.
All I am saying is that this guys questions should have been answered. You all know how new I am to this board. I sure hope I gave him the correct answers, no one else bothered.
btw---I did see an e-card with a boy farting and was wanting to send it to Kevin, but I did not have his e-mail. Hope is is doing ok.
peace--lori
