MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT A TRUE   FILIPINO WOMAN

We are not beneath any man most especially the chauvinistic kind. We are not the “maid” you hoped for who would be subservient towards your so-called power as a man. We are not the ignorant woman that you take us for.  We are not the “little, brown f***n machine” that you imagined us to be.  We are not the “gold-digging” girls you think we are, who are only after a good life.

Our dear Mr. American man, we are sorry to tell you that you have been exposed to the wrong kind of woman.  Let us enlighten you and tell you what a true Filipino woman is all about……A true Filipino woman possesses beauty inside and out;  A beauty that takes your breath away and leaves you longing for more.  Her brown skin adds the color you lack in your life;  Her black hair seduces you and mesmerizes you;  Her beautiful brown eyes mystifies you and beckons you into her spirit and mind.  

A true Filipino woman is educated; She has been brought up with mild manners and social graces; Her intelligence is that which you cannot fathom; You could look at her and know that she has class.

Mr. American Man, a true Filipino woman is not the one you know.  She is not the one who had to go to school to learn english at an old age. She is not the one whose personality exudes of ignorance and stupidity. She is not the one who thinks she is “Ms. Big-Shot” after landing her a “GI Joe.”  But instead, the woman you know, was the poor, uneducated, little whore of a girl who was waiting to be picked up by the big American man who, in turn, thinks he hit the “jackpot” but really, all he hit was a BIG, DUMB WALL OF TRASH!

So, Mr. American man, the woman you’re with may have been born and raised in the Philippines, and may even have the audacity to call herself a Filipina, BUT DOES SHE REALLY EXEMPLIFY THE ESSENCE OF A TRUE FILIPINO WOMAN?    NO!!!!  By L.J.B

I wonder what she would call me...a BWFM? LOL

She did a very good job describing my wife and most here! I guess there was some sort of mistake, since we were only supposed to get a "Big, Dumb, Wall of Trash"...like her. She seems very bitter, perhaps her "American" chose another woman.

Funny, but Vicky is from a very high-class family in Manilla and she isn't at all like this lady. Oh, she can be feisty, especially if put upon by womyn, but otherwise she's very democratic and gives a lot of time and money to church work. She is especially compassionate for women who work in the sex trade from necessity, since she has seen it happen so much. And she is quite grateful for being born into a family of position so that she didn't have to worry about being forced into the trade through accident or neglect.

I asked her what she thought about this letter and she said something that I think equates to nuevo-riche. Social climber, pain in the arse, that sort of thing. Probably an actress or model is Vicky's guess. Vicky also wonders if it was a born in the Islands Filipina that wrote that?

Actually the lady said many things that are quite correct. Filipinas are beautiful, inside and out. They are intelligent and graceful. But they aren't mean or haughty about it like this chick. They are loving, patient (somewhat jealous) women who actually enjoy marriage and family.

cause a woman like that would make life miserable.  And she completely wrong too because my wife is exactly what she said she wasn't.  I have never met such beauty and grace and a non-judgemental and caring attitude in anyone as I have my Honey.  This person would probably leave her own countrymen wallowing in the streets in filth and sickness saying they deserved it.

She obviously thinks the upper class Filipinos are the only ones who matter when they make up such a small percentage of the population.

I met a lot of girls who went to Angeles City out of necessity to support their families.  I respect them a lot more than this woman.  I bet they make better wives, too.  Someone who grows up with a maid is a better wife?  Not in America.  Our wives work hard, whether in the home or out of the home, sometimes both.

I doubt women of this ilk make any man happy.  I'm sure they make a good trophy on occasion but life is much bigger than that.

I think it's just a snobby Filipina who's ashamed of her countrywomen.  But she's the shameful one, IMO.

Hi Jay

I ran across this while doing a web search on Google. I got a little bored here stuck at home killing off intestinal parasites I most likely picked up on my last trip to the Philippines. I was searching the web for other  Philippine message boards. No I don't agree with her as I have met more than a few kano's who married Bar girls that turned out to be excellent wife's and mothers. Just for fun type in Filipina golddigger in Google.  Humabdos
