She arrives on Saturday....

The Ukrainian woman I have been seeing for the past year will be arriving in Denver on Saturday on a tourist visa.  I live in Wyoming but she couldn't get a flight out of Denver until Sunday morning so I will just meet her there (Denver).

We will be spending a few days in Denver, Jackson Hole, Yellowstone, etc. and of course Casper.  We will also be visiting some of my family in Nebraska.  She is a big city girl (Kiev).

This will be her first trip to the USA, although she has traveled throughout western Europe and lived in Cuba for a while.  I have visited her in Kiev 4 times in the past year. She speaks exceptional English (she would deny being fluent although I might argue that).  She will be here for a total of three weeks.

I will post some of her impressions and both of our experiences at the conclussion of her trip.

First off, best wishes for your gal's trip ... hope everything goes great for both of you.
Second, can you explain how she obtained a tourist visa?  I didn't think this was a viable option for us to get a Ukrainian (or Russian, etc) lady to the USA.

How did she get a tourist visa?

I think the key was probably that she had already traveled extensively outside the country. Even young single women who have a history of overseas travel can get tourist visas to the U.S. relatively easily.

...Seems to me you've handled this very well. No doubt WY will be an eye opener compared to everywhere else she's been but it'll be OK, just drive over to Devil's Tower and pop the question there
