and send her home fast! It could cost you a lot more. Get her out of your life now! You have to be pragmatic with this situation. You've been scammed by a suka that is playing the legal card against you. Don't let it come down to a domestice violence charge or it will get much more expensive. Believe me, it is worth it just to get her ass gone and out of your life. Once she is on that plane, don't waste any time filing the necessary paperwork withdrawing your sponsorship and support for her as well as filing a legal separation.

See a lawyer. Keep away from her. Try to have a friend with you as much as possible so you have a witness who says you couldn't have suspended her from a crane 300 feet up-- you were watching Batman reruns at home.

in getting her on the plane, make sure you give her cash. As a matter of fact, make it a condition of her boarding the plane home. She gets the cash at the gate when it is time to board.

If you really want to screw her, find a way to inform Ukraine customs that she will be arriving with a large amount of cash. You might get a little justice that way. Also make sure she is on all the scammer pages henceforth so it will be difficult to for her to try this again.

Does she know anyone else in the States? It's hard to believe that she has the knowledge and confidence to play hardball with you on your own doorstep like this, unless there is a third party pulling her chain. Does she have anywhere else to stay? Why not offer her a plane ticket home, and a taxi to the airport, and make it clear from the start that whether or not she takes it, she cannot return to your house again afterwards. Maybe book yourself a holiday somewhere at the same time, so there's no room for further negotiation or hanging out on your doorstep. I would have thought she would take it if she has no other place to go. It's an awful situation for you but it sounds like you're being set up and you need to get tough in response. One day you'll look back on this and at least be glad that it happened sooner rather than later.

1) Serious advice: Be sure to book her a flight that leaves the US, not one that connects in NY or Miami or where ever.....otherwise, she'll just get off the plane in the connecting city. You want to make sure that she LEAVES the US, otherwise she'll just keep what ever money you give her (but DON'T give her $9,000, for goodness sakes) and simply stay there or (even worse) come back to follow up on her 'domestic violence' charges. What's that you say, no non-stop flights from Houston to Russia? Book her one that has a connection in Mexico City.
2) Revenge advice: Book her a flight that you TELL her connects in Mexico City, but don't buy the remaining segments.
