Anybody ever stay there?  All I know is that it is fairly new.  I am only staying there one night so it does not really matter.  I am just curious.

Hi Phil, I have stayed at the Adria.  Interesting place, it is in the Intourist Hotel on the other side of the Dniper.  Since you are only staying for one night you would be better off staying at the Borispol to save the transit costs to Kyiv.  If you ever plan to spend time in Kyiv I highly recommend the Premier Palace.  It is more expensive but definitely worth it.

My wife and I (she's from Krivoy Rog) will be at the Premier Palace for a few days in April and then we will stay at the Oreanda in Yalta.  The Premier Palance and Oreanda are under common ownership.

Hope this helps.

I am staying there immediately prior to leaving Ukraine.  I arrive in Kiev on the train about 1000 in the morning.  My flight out leaves the next day at around 0800.  So I have most of a day and an evening to kill in Kiev.  Otherwise I would stay out near the airport.

If you are interested in things to do, places to eat, etc. feel free to ask, I'll be happy to make suggestions as I'm sure the others on this board would be as well.

It is a LONG way from Kreschatyk or Podil or Golden Gate districts - the only sections of Kyiv I care to stay.

As you say, the Adria is pretty new and very reasonably-priced compared to most Kyiv hotels.

For only a single night it is not so bad - though I might have opted for the Hotel Boryspil near the airport if you are only transiting the city. Adria will be almost as inconvenient to popular sites in the city.

FWIW
