.....yeah, it kinda is except I have to wait until the bus stops! (Btw Yoey, the Internet is so much more than a global ponograhpy network.) Frank, it was not meant to be positive or negative. All I meant was I assume different types of musicians do better than others. For example, rock types do better with chicks than fiddle players. lol, better cut back on the herb. ;-)

never done it never will. Beer or some tequila is about as heavy as I'll go. I don't even smoke. I just wanted to clarify about the violin I thought perhaps the violinist had something going I didn't know about (groupies who really like the bow hairs?!)! LOL!! I used to play violin DEFINATELY A LOT MORE chicks with my electric guitar.

Well, reading this board, especially of late, one gets an impression that most men that are looking for a RW are:
- as rich as Bill Gates
- looking for a woman no more than 5 years their junior
- set her up as a queen in one of the mansions they have with waterfront views
- fulfill her every desire and basically live for her
- etc
I wonder which nick the sultan of Brunei posts here under.
In reality, I think that those who say they are/do all that, may be fooling others, and possibly themselves, and certainly create a very skewed impresion of the MOB scene.
I'd say that 10 years age difference is quite acceptable, and most RW wouldn't object to it.
However, you're probably the minority with regards to age, as I'd bet a dollar against a cent that most guys are looking for a girl 15-20 years and more younger than themselves, it just doesn't come up here on this board too often. Not that I think it's not OK to look for a young and beautiful wife.
At 34, you're just fine with a 24-year-old. It's probably not just your profession that draws young girls to you, it's the lack of twenty-something looking for RW that does it.

PS i did meet him once when his house in England burgled. Apparently an inside job by his own guards- some ex SAS men. A few million in jewelry went missing. .Never found who dunnit.

when I was corresponding with Marina I asked the interpretor about other men that wrote Marina. She said most men that wrote her were "young guys" & she was NOT interested in young guys. She wanted someone a little more mature. She said she occasionally got letters from "older" men but they were old & the usual fat, balding etc. so she was turned off. Apparently I was the only somewhere in the middle? The weird/funny part is I sent her a lot of pics of me both good AND bad pics so as to give her a realisic view of me. I freaked out because one night she took em out of her purse. I was wondering what is she doing carrying them around? She says she took them everywhere she went! Anyways she pointed to the one she liked best. It was a pic that was around 11 or 12 years old. I was in my early 20's. Go figure!
