... in response to Change In Subject / Technical Help Need..., posted by Watcher on Dec 1, 2002You actually didn't need the dual language keyboard. I'm using my ordinary one to write letters in Russian. But you do need to memorize where the keys are. I can type in Russian at blazing several words a minute! That's before I spend the extra time to correct all my errors.
To set up the language support:
click Start
Settings
Control panel
Keyboard
Language
Add
scroll down and click on Russian
After this there should be a small square on the task bar that says EN. If you click on it you can choose English or Russian. When your computer is set to Russian this square will say RU. Or you can just hit alt+shift to toggle between the two.
Good luck.
