IF anyone goes to Kiev use Jack for flats!

I just got back from my 1st trip. I was in Kiev just 1 day as I spent the 2 weeks in Lugansk. The flat Jack arranged for me in Kiev was INCREDIBLE! It was next to the National Opera in Kiev, It had a bedroom, a den, kitchen, living room with tv (CD player also in the bedroom a REALLY nice touch!), & a large bathroom with HOT WATER! WOW! I REALLY Appreciated the hot water! LOL!!
But seriously this flat was better than an Embassy Suites suite, & a lot cheaper! From here I will use Jack to book flats in Kiev. I wish they had flats like that in LUgansk.

Frank, thanks for your info re apts, but it would be much more useful if you would give some dollar numbers here.  For instance, can't we all find something 'incredible,' if cost is no factor.

As I reported earlier, I had apt in SPb for about $25 per night and apt in Antalya for about $10 per night.  They were clean and completely acceptable.  Of course there were really 'incredible' places for $100-200 per night.

Can you give us some comparable numbers?

Sorry bout that. The one I stayed at was ran about $60 - $65 per night. REALLY good in my opinion compared to the hotels. Also the location was great. I stayed at a flat in Lugansk for $25 a day which had everything but the one in Kiev provided by Jack was LUXURIOUS in comparison.

What were your impressions / experiences of Lugansk? Are you planning to post a trip report? I have heard many very controversial reports about Lugansk, and I'm sure all of us would be very interested to hear a personal account, fresh from the front line!
