Spoke to the Embassy this am, they said that some of the visa's are starting to back up a little because they have some that are still waiting for name checks and this is taking more time than usual (usual being between 7-10 days).  They are today sending some reminders to the State Department asking that they complete some of these latest name checks and to try to get an explanation..
