younger, beautiful woman!

Just a short report on my recent 3-day trip to Las Vegas (first for me).  I stayed at The Venetian, as recommended by some on this board.  It was superb...thanks to all who made recommendations!  We visited several other hotels, like The Bellagio, Luxor, NYNY, etc., but we really didn't find any that matched The Venetian.  My wife absolutely loved the place.  If you've been to LV a few times and don't care to see anything of The Strip, then the Venetian is great because you really don't need to ever leave the place...great shops, fabulous restaurants, great architecture, wonderful scenery around the canal, and a virtually a smoke-free casino environment, no doubt due to the very high ceilings in the casino.  Highly recommended place to stay...but NOT cheap, that's for sure!

My wife was surprised at the very small number of people dressing up in the casinos and restaurants, but it was still much better than what we experienced at the Foxwoods casino in Connecticut, where it was truly a slob environment.  Of course, in some of the other hotel casinos that were lower class like Harrah's, the dress got progressively worse.  At least at The Venetian my wife didn't feel out of place when she dressed to kill.

One of the downsides of marrying a younger, beautiful woman is that you can get pretty tired of everyone staring at her (no exageration, I didn't see anyone who looked better than my wife the entire time we were there...so much for the LV hype about beautiful women), and then staring at YOU for being so much older.  You know what people are thinking...you've either got a LOT of money, or you've got a BIG you know what!  Let's face it, you don't mind a few stares on occasion, but when it is non-stop for 3 days, you start to get a little uneasy. One example was a comment made by a group of 3 young girls as we passed by...."Look, another Anna Nicole Smith!"  My wife thought it was funny, but I didn't appreciate the implication at all.  Like I said, after a while it gets to you and you start to feel self-conscious about taking a stroll with your wife (at least I did).

So, the message here is that if you go out and marry a much younger woman, be prepared for the consequences.  And you'd better not be the jealous type, or you'll find yoursself in more arguments than you are prepared to handle.

Stevo what is your age difference if I may ask? By the way if given the choice I would definitely want to be in your shoes on the recieving end of those stares rather than the person staring and wishing he was in your shoes. You go man !

Complementing on your good taste in women!!!

No way LOL, I mean does it take good taste to appreciate a beautiful woman? I do not think so. Men who do not have any taste in anything at all will appreciate a beautiful woman. This is no complement to your good taste IMHO. Smiley

The complement in the final analysis is to your woman and no one else  ---- relative to YOU -- If there is a complement it is that YOU are with her and not them. Also their complement inadvertently is enshrouded with a question. What are they thinking?  --- it is something like this = I wonder what he has, what he is about, that this gorgeous woman is with him. In other words: A questioning admiration for the situation that they see you in.

Hey, I am not taking anything away from either of you. I am not saying that you do not deserve your lady. So, please do not misinterpret me. I would like to be in your situation.

Greg,
You are right in that the stares are a compliment to our wives beauty but the ENVY they have is all for us guys that have such beautiful wives.  They, like you, would like to walk a mile in our shoes.  He!!, maybe even just a block or two.

One of the cartoons features a nice-looking young couple at at party. He's been staring at another woman across the room for some time. The babe on his arm finally says, "When you're finished not looking at her, can you divert your non-attention to me?"

I agree, and disagree. I think the majority of men that I know think that Pamela Anderson is a hot babe! Not me. She doesn't excite me, or turn me on in the least. I'm not kidding. You talk about your basic silicon bag bimbo, and she is the definition. Nothing to look at, or desire! Show me a real woman.......please!

That is a different issue as I see it bleeding into the other so to speak.

What I mean, this one is about preference. For me, Pamela Anderson, because of how I perceive her morals etc whether correct or not, creates a turn off.

However, whether you like Pamela or not, she is going to get a lot more eye attention from men then your typical AW right? So, regardless of you her appearance is appreciated by many men plain and simple.

Now, even though you are not interested in her, I would guess that if you ran into her at the grocery store and she was just ahead of you at the checkout stand, you would not be looking at the headings of the tabloids that are there right in front of you. Smiley)) Now if it was a typical AW, your attention would not be sparked as much. LOL

I agree about these really big boobs, whether real or manufactured.  They are really a turnoff when the trusses come off.  Give me a firm B cup anytime.

The last time she was in any way attractive was back when she was found at that ballpark in Canada.
