"Just saw the show at 10am on my Dayton Ohio FOX affiliate.

I thought Shane came off really good!  I thought they tried to twist around
what Tatyana Mercer was saying in an attmept to take advantage of her lack
of english skills and make her seem to say she wasn't happy in her
marriage.  Overall she handled it pretty well.  I thought the guy from
VolgaGirls agency came off looking pretty good & credible, the guy from
SiberianLadies came off looking sleazy and the Phillipina lady from the
women's rights organization made some legitimate points that the agency
owners were not permitted or didn't have the time to adequately respond to.

Ricki's closing comment was the sleaziest part of the whole show.  Overall,
not a unfair representation of the process.  About the same as the Montel
show earlier.  Worth a look."

Barry,
What is happening to you?  Your posts are angry and vulgar, as if you are mad at the world.  I hope everything is OK for you.  Have a NICE day!

I've been a bit pissed at what has been going on here in the last month. ANYTIME Shane is mentioned, I see red. If you saw the content of the many past postings over the last 3 years by Shane, you would understand. Most of it is now vapor. That creep is a bigger threat to us pursuing RW/UW brides than Hillary Clinton. He has lobbied legislators to ban MOB's. His fanaticism has gained him his 15 minutes on Ricki Lake, but if there was a thorough investigation of his claim, would it wash? I doubt it. I found so many holes and half-truths in his "story" to drain a lake.

I think things are calming down on here now. I haven't heard any small ugly penis testimonies in the last few days. Wouldn't it be nice if this place becomes "decent" again where RW/UW would not be afraid to post here? ... and no more stories of who slept with how many RW/UW?

It was actually pretty well balanced.  Some on the show were married and happy, some were just starting out on the venture of searching, and some ended unhappily.

The men were all very 'normal' and looked pretty good in comparison to other shows I've seen on this subject.  The one naysayer on the subject (a Filipino woman named Dorotea) claimed all the usual nonsense of exploitation of women.  She actually came across to the audience as being pretty over the top and lacking credibility.  It became obvious the more she talked that she had her agenda regardless of the positives of the MOB system.

In the end, the audience saw the good side of the MOB process and didn't appear to react negatively, even with the antics of Dorotea.  I especially liked the one guy who said to her that Russia isn't the Phillipines...where real slavery exists.  She didn't say much after that.

This was by far the most positive portrayal of the MOB process that I've ever seen on the talk show circuit.  It was especially good because it clearly illustrated that not all marriages are successful...all possibilities exist just as they do for men that marry AW.

Some of us who aren't watching or taping the show would like to know.  That Shane is on the show says alot about the agenda, but I'm still curious.

Well at least in my area, the description of the Show is "Mail Order Brides" but the actual show is "Outrageous Apologizes"
