Okay... so some of you guys think Im going to talk about something else but... sorry no...

LOL... I have found out that my wife really enjoys some of our old tv shows.. Leave it to beaver,  the Andy Griffith show... which she refers to as the sheriff's story... both shows show the old virtues that made our country great... and they are filled with truely nice people... without killing, and mayhem... a more peaceful time relatively at least... all times had their bad guys and bad events... but over all I would love to return to the times when you didnt need to lock your door...

Yeah.  About the only trouble Opey got into was making Goober think a dog could talk, then his Pa, Sheriff Andy, made him feel ashamed for making a fool out of ol'Goob.  Not like today's t.v. shows where the kids get into serious trouble and life and death situations or life altering trouble like aids.

Nice that she saw them in order.

I had a niece see the Andy Griffith for the first time, and she shouted: "Look mom, it's Matlock!"

Good lead-in Keith.

Olya too, enjoys a lot of old American shows - and her mom practically rolls on the floor (exaggeration) to the 'I Love Lucy' episodes in Russian.

You're right - a more innocent and carefree time.

Cheers,

- Dan
