The lady that handles immigration issues told me there wasn't any problem with visas.  In her words, "I should know.  I work with them every day."  I told her that we were still doing interviews in Moscow but that no visas had been issued since late July.  Basically she believed I was listening to internet rumors and she agreed to call DOS to humor me.  When she called me back she informed me that I have been misled.  Moscow has been issuing visas all along.  They got a little behind for a while but now they're caught up.

Beam me up Scotty!

There may be some truth to both statements.  Visas have been issued in Moscow since July...maybe just not K-1's.  As I had previously posted, we just had a 'friend' of my wife's visit 2 weeks ago.  She received her visa from Moscow in lare August (tourist visa).

Very interesting how one spokesperson for Congressman's Dick Army's office says there are thousands of visa's on hold and they will take months for them to be given out. As well there are a LOT of guys whose fiancees have been waiting, now for months, for there fiancess visa's to be released.

Maybe this lady is correct and all the visa's are being issued and these guys who are waiting for there fiancee's visa's are mistaken?
