However, they all have a common thread, which is that you part with a significant sum of money at some point. Just watch for the signs; if she or the agency (if you use one for translations etc) has been asking for money, if you don't have her authentic home address/phone, if she has tried to arrange your meeting away from her city and sought assistance for the travelling, and especially if she has sought to delay your visit for any reason (to prolong a lucrative correspondence) then you should expect the worst.
However, if you have been corresponding since last November without being asked for money (by the lady OR by an agency for translations etc) or any of the other signs above, then she very probably genuine. Of course there are a good number of genuine nice girls as well as scammers in Lugansk (I have met both types).
