Can anyone refer me to a good source for Ukraine maps?  Preferably with some of the smaller cities?  My book store is no help and google sends me to a lot of web sites that don't have what I want. Thanx much --  Burt

Thanks MDB, I'll give that site a try.  Karl, I'd get my girl to buy maps for me, but there's no "girl" yet!  (smile)

I am a map fool. Pulled every one I saw off the Odessa news-stands. Let your girl do the buying for you. Cheaper.. you know Wink

I didn't know specialty "Map stores" existed.  Borders book stores in DC area were not helpful, and most web sites I found were primarily for navigating to specific street addresses, etc.  Your info will be a big assist.  Thanks again. -- Burt

My home town had a map store and I got some good maps of Ukraine and Russia.  Use the Yahoo Yellow Pages and search for map stores.  Doing a search for Arlinton, VA, I found the "Map Store Inc" in DC and "Rand McNally Map & Travel" in McClean.

Map Store Inc
1636 I St NW, Washington, DC 20006
Phone: (202) 628-2608

Rand Mc Nally Map & Travel
7988 Tysons Corner Ctr, McLean, VA 22102
Phone: (703) 556-8688

I have used it and it will locate some very small villages.

Really?

Barnes and Nobles in San Jose had a bunch of them. I got mine there.

There are also travel stores. You might want to try them. Most major cities have them. I know San Jose does. SO does DFW.
