Has anyone heard anything new from Moscow??

Latest I have is, they told me to contact them after August 29th.  Of course our tickets are for August 30, so looks like we will have to change those yet again...

I am getting tired of my life being on hold, for I do not know how long...I wish they would just give us a date.

I do not want to think about all the people who are waiting now, and what the line is going to be like, when they finally give the ok.  Since they stopped issueing around July 22, I estimate that there have been a (very) minimum of 50 interviews a week (based on the average number i see on the website), so that means there at least 200 people waiting for visa's...Think they can get them all out the same day??   Hhmm...I am not going to even answer that.

I hope everyong is doing well...

Regards,
Dennis

just remember that all good things come to people who wait. I also am in the hurry up and wait mode. I am waiting for the approval document in the mail. so we can start processing for the interview. Rick

Hang in there buddy.  Just be glad you got through the application approval and interview approval.  I hope your fiancee gets her visa before August 30.  Yeah it sucks having your life on hold, keep the faith.

...after mid-Sept the airline rates should start to drop for the season. We did our Warsaw interview mid Aug (see profile) .. My ticket prices were awful. Encouraged to wait by my agent but I just couldn't anymore.

From the FWIW department...

If you are using frequent flyer miles, it drops after October 15th.

It's 60,000 miles for an international flight (on American Airlines and partners) before Oct 15th... it is 40,000 after...

I hope you can't take advantage of that (smile)...

I hope your August 30 tickets work for both of you!
