Sometime earlier I posted comments that I felt all of this FSU thing was changing exactly as you have said.

It is not really about the area being fished out but the fish becoming wiser as there are more lures to choose from that are vying for their attention. This is good in that a guy a few years back was not held in reality check as easily when he would stretch the beauty or age factor.

So, the solution for some guys is go to the more remote areas to find the more eager women. This is not a bad approach as long as one does not use it to push the limits beyond reason.

Reality checks are good.

I think that Jack's comment about looking at yourself in  the mirror and giving yourself an honest assessment is good advice.

Also, looking honestly at responses you got from AWs will help ground you as well.

If babes in America are shooting you down... maybe you need to reassess your "score". If, on the other hand, you've been dating good looking women in America, but have had other problems keeping the relationship going... then the babes in Russia are probably going to like you, too.

(Hmmm... so, does the fact that Milena didn't want to date MarkH, but was excited about meeting me mean that I have a higher score than MarkH? ;-)

I've said it before, and I will say it again -- The Green Card isn't the big draw that some men think it is.

I don't get the sense that the women in the FSU hate their lives so bad that they will hop aboard the first guy that asks them. I just don't...

It isn't.. it ain't.  You're correct and it don't work like that these days and Jack's opinion is dead on center.  (My one and only experience with rw that is) I look at myself in a mirror and I think 5 on looks (Bald averaging), 8 on muscles and body structure... maybe I can get a babe that's a 6 or 7.  

ok fine.  I get a babe that... (and I ain't even gonna rate her on the appearance numerical scale for obvious reasons - 10 to me and i've done'em all), thinks I'm a freakin 8.9.  She's realistic, and I'm a lunatic.  I appreciate her control... and she has no desire to come here, but goes nuts because I prefer to go there instead.  She doesn't give a rats butt about green card anything.  Just wants to be together, and if she had her way, she'd be doing a R1 on me to russia instead of a K1 the other way around.

Pick your poison well.  

IMO, the younger you choose, the greater the risk of ending up with problems you never thought existed; green card or not.

You surely do see, though, that you can't have it both ways...

Either women want the green card and therefore will jump on the first American who comes by...

Or the Green Card is not as important to them, and they  will be choosey...

You can't have choosey women who want nothing but a Green Card...

Even you must see the intrinsic impossibility in that...

Sooner or later... you will have to choose which side of the fence you wish to remain on.

It is a funny thing about some men's nature. If a woman does not take much time to choose him - even is she is very quick about it ----- the guy through his own ego comes to the conclusion that his lady is being choosey.  

Now, if the lady is slow dragging her feet relative to accepting you what does that mean? It could mean a few things of which the following might be in that listing and may apply:

1) the green card is not an issue or it is buy she wants her cake and eat it to and you only are coming forth with a desirable green card.
2) she is not that interested in you, there are other suitors of which you are plan B, she just wants to take her time to be sure.

As I said before... she doesn't fit my definition of a scammer.

She also doesn't fit my definition of a serious lady.

I will just say that it was far more than just "she went away on a trip and when she came back I was bno longer interested."

There was also strange behavior on her part, weird emails, and lying...

But it doesn't matter to me.

I have my lady, so everything worked out for the best...
