Hi guys,
I own USA fiancee Visas at http://www.usafianceevisas.com/ and needed to see what the deal was after a ton of people asked me about the NEW procedures from the Embassy so I called in a few "markers".
I just got this from the Consulate today.

USA Fiancee Visas,

We apologize for the delay in the fiancee's visa cases.  Due to recent changes in processing requirements, we are required to perform
additional administrative processing on this case before the interview.  This additional administrative processing is mandatory and we cannot schedule the visa interview until it has been completed.
For further information regarding the status of these cases, please contact our visa information center by telephone at +7 095 258 2525 or 1 866 4US VISA from the United States.
Sincerely,
Customer Service Unit

SO! I called a "friend" who works at the Embassy who was very "hush-hush" about this (odd). He told me in a "round about way" that the Embassy is making changes at this time as a matter of security regarding ANY type of visa requested.

All one can assume is that:
1) it is a game of political chess
2) the anniversary of 9/11 is approaching and they (USA) are just being more cautious of further trouble

Since the Consulates are not giving out any "details" of the NEW procedures thiese seem the best possibilities.

I have emailed 12 different Countries of K-1 processing to only receive the EXACT same email back.

I will keep all of you posted if I hear anything new as I am going to keep "bugging" my contact at the Embassy!

Sorry, are you saying there will be more delays (aside from the you won't get the visa even if you are approved for up to two more months?)

Dex,
What I am saying is that the State Dept. is NOT saying things will get better.
