Has anyone else noticed this?
I know from time to time they (Prompt) work on the online dictionaries... but today I noticed that something as simple as "Thank you for email"... comes out as:
Танк иоу -- for thank you. It's doing a literal/verbal interpretation instead of a realistic one. (BarryM you've got to be the most self-educated expert on this stuff, any ideas? Spyke/Buford you noticed this too?)
I was quite suprised to see this tonight, and then I went to my old standby, http://translation2.paralink.com
Did the same thing and I get the CORRECT спасибо etc...
Does anybody know what the heck is going on at ProjectMT?
(My fiance and I can talk and write in both russian and english -limited but effective-, but this seems to be really OUT of the norm for Prompt. I've got the prompt r-express on my own computer system but it's much slower than prompts server is... so that's why I prefer to use the online interpreter, oh well, I'll quit rambling and see what any of you folks have to say about this).
