Older guy needs info

Appeal to the forum for suggestions for the more mature retreads, mid-life, (and beyond), divorced gentlemen.

AW took her share of our assets and skipped town.  kids are grown.  Nest is empty and I am feeling kinda lonely.  Dating AW's has been less than satisfactory.  Intrigued by the FSU MOB phenomena.  Looking for mature ladies with intelligence, GSOH and spirit of adventure.

Since Russian men are dying at a relatively low age assume there is a surplus of eligible RW's in the age cohort that I am interested in.

Would like to exchange experiences and learn from other gentlemen in my age group, over 55's, who are looking for mature FSU and EE lady companions to share the "sunshine years" with.

Usual concerns:  best methods to find and meet, INS, Visas, health care, language difficulties, cultural differences, e-mail availability, scammers, etc.

Especially interested in input from the RW ladies.

Good sign - I am beginning to see more mature, over 40 years old, ladies being featured by many of the agencies.

I am just over 50 myself but, I do have some advice. I also noticed that the women that are older are more rare to find. And, the ones that I did see very few would I be interested in.

Because of the lack of these ladies in volume I would suggest you consider doing an ad and have it placed in newspapers in the FSU. Jack from FirstDream posts here - he most likely would be an excellent one to work with. He can take care of all of that for you. The key is meeting many women so as to have a greater selection as getting married is a serious proposition.

William below made some comments but, I would say in defense of the older women the following. The older women are going to be less likely to change, be Americanized

I do not fit your spec for your new BOF group... (BOF = "Birds of  a Feather")

However, I did notice that FirstDream has a special section for ladies who are looking for mature men...

look around and go slow.
Women over 45 or so may, just may, be more set in their ways than a younger lady and the adapting/changes she would have to do when/if she were the immigrate here might be very difficult
for her.
With old/grown children left behind in EE, she may be very homesick when here.

Also watch out for a small degree of desperation in some older women.
Look alot and read a lot. Start saving your nest egg.
