Very nice photos.  Katya appears to be growing fast.  Any other updates?  How are things going for the three of you?  Any bumps in the road to happiness?

Actually everything is going great. We are currently looking to buy a piano and might finalize a deal in the next 2 days. Maryna already has 1 student that she teaches at the students home, but once we get our own we will start looking for more students to teach. She also sang at Katya's school and 1 of the teachers heard her singing and said she 'sounds like an angel' and has some contacts and is looking to get her some work.
As for Katya, yes she is growing very fast and has really picked up the language, especially since she started school in Feb. Last week we went snorkeling for the first time and she picked it up w/o any problem. Yesterday we spent 2 hrs teaching her how to boogie board and we had to drag her out of the water. And we all have the sunburns to go with it. In Sept she starts kindergarten ansd she's really looking forward to it.
We also got our new condo in May and that kept us busy and its nice to have a place of our own. And the view is hard to beat...aloha

Glad to hear all is going so well. That is great that Maryna has the ability to teach music. I assume that she enjoys her music. Being able to make an income from something you love can only provide a wonderful balance for her as well as making her feel that she is contributing other than with family affairs. Sometimes when these women come over and find that they can not do the type of work that they did back home it can be a real source of frustration it seems from posts of men whose wives were in that situation.

Thanks for great photos!
You know what, my wife was looking at them too and she was pleasantly surprised when she saw some photos taken in Yaremcha, whis is not too far from Chernovtsy where she used to live. Did your wife live in Yaremcha? The world is small.

My wife is from Chernivtsi too. She taught music at the institute there. We went to Yaremcha after we were engaged and spent the night there. We rented a house that was really nice and walked around the market and bought a few items for me to bring back. We really liked it there. We are also planning on going back for a visit next summer to see the family...aloha
