I just talked to a Russian friend. He is wrapping up his vacation with his mom. They just drove from Chicago to Miami to DC to New York. They are going to spend a few days at the Niagra Falls before heading back to Chicago. I ask him to come out to LA but it was a little out of his way.
So I ask ya-when was teh last time any of you guys even took your mom out for dinner?
I thought so.
He may not be the status quo but it is not ananomoly either. My wife has taken her mom over much of eastern Europe and last fall 3 months in USA.
When is the last time your mom came to visit?
If your parents are deceased I apologize. But you can acknowledge if you know of ANY person sho has done this in the US. I know there are many of us true blue Americans who take of of family when they are sick-does not count. I mean just to do it because it is the way things are....................

Actually, my Mom lives 1000 miles a way.

I flew her out here for Mother's Day, and treated her to a Brazilian Steakhouse. (Which is excellent, btw guys in DFW -- the one in Hurst. Only problem is that I ALWAYS over eat there!)

I'll bet a lot of guys on here took their mom out for dinner on Mother's Day. That's easy.

It's calling her several times a week, and listening to her complain about her life that's hard...

Illegal Immigrants Must Be Punished
Viktor Pasuyev

Since illegal migration has reached a critical point (1.5 million), it is necessary to make the illegal presence on RF territory subject to criminal prosecution, introducing appropriate amendments to the Criminal Law Code. As to which specific punishment should be used - a fine, a suspended sentence, or two to three years in prison - this is up to the State Duma to decide
