Hello all, My name is Jason, I'm a 33yr old male. I live in the US
I hope to go to Cali to search for a mate but this seems like a nice
group and I had to post for Lori.
  Lori you are not the only woman to go this route !!! hehehe
My sister is 31yrs drop dead /blond /blue and is and has been happily
married to a Thai man for 8 yrs.  They have 4 wild little boys.
(Every tried to watch 4 wild kids at once..whew!)  The only negative thing I could say about Nucal is he works to much, and will find an early grave if he dosn't slow down!  But growing up in poverty will do that to you.  Best of wishes to you and the rest of the board :p

About your sister---Did she go to Thailand to find her hubby or did she meet him in the U.S.?
I dated a Thai guy once, when I was very young. I really don't remember what happened with us. I know I moved away. I really loved their culture. After I moved I remember I spent hours in the phone book, looking up thai and laos last names, hoping to meet some new friends.. I lost touch with asain people for years after that. Man, I miss the sticky rice!! I finally got a basket to steam it, and now we have it alot.
anyway, I am rambling on and on...memoryyyyys!!!
Does your sister have a computer?? Do you think she would give us her story??

Lets see, yes my sister has a computer.  She met her hubby
her in the US.  When she first met him, she didn't take him
very serious.  I think she put it like this "he was somebody
that was fun to date".  He was cleaning offices and moonlighting as an exotic dancer.  lol  Littel did she know
she would wind up having 4 kids and a life with him....hehe.
Just goes to show you how life and love are so very unpredictable.  I was in Military for 4yrs so I got to meet
a lot of interacial couples/couples where one was from the
states and the other from across the ocean.  I know some that have been married for over 20 yrs.  Others ended in disaster :\  The ones I was familuar with were mostly Asian
caucasan. Note: pls forgive my spelling, I am a bit like the redneck friend the guys were lamenting about :p  Anyway
This is a unique way to meet people.  The only real problem
I see with this forum (international pen pals for marage, mail order bride ect) is one big misconception.  Most all the guys say their are no good women here in the US.  Well
that is total bs in MHO.   Their are plentey right here.
What worries me is that if people make bad desions at home
they most certianly will abroad.  Lets say were talking about fishing inloo of trying to find a mate.  If you cant fish worth a crap in the US, odds are you arn't going to fish any better over seas.  Hehe glad I'm not on stage saying this or people might start throwing fruit at me!
Conversly in an international marrage both people know their
is one heck of a challenge ahead of them before hand. So they go into it with the right attitude if they are both
sincere.  Gee this is getting long, sorry
