It is snowing here in Wyoming and the recent posts about shashlyk got me thinking...  Anyway the meat is marinating and I have 2 bottles of Mukuzani (Georgian wine).  It ought to be ready about 6pm.  Now, if anyone has any Baltica....

I have a bottle of Gzelka and a nice 2 liter bottle of Otbchectvo, the favored vodka in Novosibirsk.  Do not worry, I am saving these two bottles for when we all have a real party.  Maybe in the near future in Texas, Wyoming or wherever.  I would not mind a nice centrally located place to have a national meeting like Chicago.  Any organizers out there.  Worst comes to worst we'll have to get Jack to invite everyone to Texas.

But it's about 95 here in Florida and we just got out of the pool.  I'm doing some steaks on the grill soon and Irina is making an olivieya salad and vinegrete salad.

Maybe next time.

Oatmeal was coming this weekend but we got rained out.

So we are hopefully on for next weekend.

It is about 70* degrees out (no snow or blazing hot), perfect weather for a cook out.

Plan on sleeping under the stars... or in a tent (if you got one).

I've got some Baltica 3, Klinskoe, and Tolstyak. Also half a 26 of Volgogradskay vodka. But I don't think I can make it there by 6. My best friend collects beer bottles. I brought him back a bottle of each of those. They were my prefered beers from Russia.

Phil,
The food, drink and company all sounds great, but no thanks.  I will go to the beach instead.
