Search the archives.  A couple of guys have been there.  You can fly there via Seoul, Korea.

... in response to RW said she was originally from Vladivos..., posted by BubbaGump on May 10, 2002

RW has helped me organize this trip.  I wouldn't be going there if it wasn't for her help. I'll be going through Seoul just before the World Cup starts. I'm meeting a friend there on my layover. RW has given me tons of info about Vlad and so have the ladies I'm writing. I'm in the final stages of my planning. More or less just have to pack. But I wanted to hear an outsiders opinion of the city also. Everyone has different impressions of what they see. And I like to hear them all.

The article described it as a place in serious economic decline with a lot of Russians moving out and Chinese moving in and starting up restaurants like many do here.

I actually though about going there because there were a couple of really hot girls there but I am not brave enough.  Please tell me your going to visit a stunning blond named Anastasia and you'll be my hero.

Nope, on the Anastasia. But give me her info and I might look her up! I'm already connected to several cute brunettes. But I'm still assembling my backup list in case things go badly. I'm not the best looking guy around but the pretty girls don't scare me any more. Last year I spent 3 months with one of the most beautiful women I've seen anywhere. Made me realize that I really do want more than just a pretty face and hot body. But dang it's hard to look past that!

I'm hoping I can find the whole "package" in Russia. Looks, personality and the biggest requirement, wanting me. I know some nice girls closer to home but they are lacking in at least one of those areas. Usually the "wanting me" area.

Here's what one lady from there told me about Vlad. " Some of my aquaintances joke: " Vladivostok - it
The Russian city with the Japanese automobiles and Chinese
Inhabitants! " In general, the Far East strongly differs from
The western part of Russia. And still, say, that in
Vladivostok many beautiful girls."

For a long time I couldn't find much for ladies in Vlad. But I found a few Russian dating sites that had a lot. I'm getting excited about my trip. This is my first attempt at the multiple ladies scenario. All my other trips were for the same girl.

If you end up with this girl, I will hate you!  I think I asked about Vladivostok in one post because I thought this was one girl I would take a special trip for.  She looks like a supermodel, so you may not be interested.  There was another one that was almost as good in Vladivostok but that was a couple of years ago.

Her ID number is RL87788 if you have to do a search.  She must still be active because new pictures have been added since last fall.

Okay that got my attention. You want to know the best part. She likes horses. If I've got one thing going for me it's that I can ride. I'm not into the supermodel type, but maybe I could make an exception. But only if she's good on a horse. Hehehe

Okay, I know not to go boating with those two or try to steal Sukhoi fighter plans. But I was hoping for impressions of the city from someone on the board who's been there.

I think there was a Russian lady that posted her that was from there.  Have you used the 'search' feature ?

What we saw were tube type radios and flintstone type technology... Look at all the russian airplanes they weight a ton and are pushed along by a beefy engine.

Technologically advanced, not.

Our F-16 & 15's & 18's dance around the stuff they stick in the air.  Who cares about about a cobra move... when your crusing along and from 5-10 miles away, just send it a sparrow or a s'winder.  splash.
