update from Odessa

I think this is the 1st thread I ever initiated??? Anyhow Kempinski Hotel came into town with a bang but left with a whimper. Another foreign investor whose contract was torn up and told to lump it. I was there the other day to the new Odessa Hotel (creative name they came up with) and instead of being greeted at the door by a smartly dressed Kempinski girl I was given the unfriendly once over by the two ugly guys in all black clothes that sit near the entrance of many FSU hotels, very nice way to begin your $150 a night stay.

On another note a friend of mine who operates a local restaurant had a visit this past Saturday by 6-8 boisterous guys from the States who discreetly inquired with him where the best cat house was as apparently their socials, tour and back-ups were not as successful as marketed, must have lost their focus and were ready to pay for some affection. Nice

Why would you stay in a hotel when you can rent your own flat for 30-$40 per night???

he lives and works in odessa, and was commenting on what he saw during his business/social ventures in the "field" of his business.  Which I would imagine, includes engaging far-ners in hote-tells.

Well, my flat in Odessa was fantastic and for $40 per night as opposed to $150-$200 per night, to me it is a no brainer.. If you have the money to throw away, great, but to me it is a total waste.. also much more private to entertain ladies in your own flat..
