Due to the continued attacks on the board from someone recently banned from posting, I've had to modify the program to discontinue anonymous posting.  For those of you who have never registered, you will have to do so now in order to write any messages to the board.  You will still be able to read.

Regards,  Patrick

This board was becoming unreadable over the past few weeks. It was a shame to see something as beneficial as this so horribly vandalized.

There could be a troll or two who's registered an account previously and not shown their true colors yet (or even posted), but they'll be short-lived when they show themselves.

There are just so many anonymous surfing services and web based email services that I was not able to capture them all to do an automated check before issuing the passwords via software.  I had over 40 anonymous surfing domains and over 900 web based email serice domains in a list that was checked, but it's just not possible to keep up with them all since there are new ones popping up all the time.

Before I issue a password, I'll be checking both the domain he/she's web surfing from and the email account domain that they're using to register with to be sure that they're not anonymous.

as I'm sure it will frustrate some newbies along the way trying to ask legitimate questions but having to wait to be able to post.  However, I'm glad that something has been done to limit the trolling to help put this board back on track.  I appaud your efforts, tolerance and patience (and I know we have tried it numerous times)Smiley
