Of all three boards here, I think that Patrick has to spend more time here than he would like, since compared to what goes on here, relatively little trolling and bickering goes on at either the Latin or Asian boards and this one takes more effort to keep clean. I think Patrick knows he has to keep a watchful eye on this one.

why so many more trolls (mostly AWs and AWs posing as men) appear in our neck of the woods?  I mean since there are AM pursuing Asians and Latinas, certainly, the AW trolls must recoginize the fact that AM bring them over to marry as well.  The only explanation I can figure out is that white women hate the fact that the men seeking ladies from the FSU are in fact seeking other white women which are truly better looking, in better physical condition, better educated and more pleasant to be around then they are.  While they tolerate men marrying women of other ethic origins, they must either view this as a minority or they simply draw the line at having to compete against AM bringing other white women into "their holy sanctuary" (the US) thereby ruining their little corner of the market on the growing scarcity of AM willing to tolerate their "its a women's world" attitudes.  Now I'm not a racist (although I prefer white women), I just think this is a valid reason why we get hit more often.

I would hazard a guess that the other two boards are not entirely troll free, all things considered. While we do seem to get more of it here, I have a look at the other two boards occasionally and fights DO break out there, although admittedly for different reasons.

This much I do know: white guys who are interested in Asian women -- and not just the ones who are pursuing foreign brides -- are hated by a lot of Asian women, particularly Westernized ones. I should know. My current girlfriend is Chinese-Canadian (second generation of immigrant parents, like me) and I get a lot of good natured teasing and kidding from my guy friends "Niall's got yellow fever!" and other remarks, and I know a lot of other guys get the same only some of it's not so good natured. White guys who date Asian women are often called "Asiaphiles" or just simply "sick white guys with an Asian woman fetish" by others, particularly other Asian women who are very wary of white man/Asian woman inter-racial relationships. These are on the rise, particularly here in Vancouver, a city where the population is easily about a third Asian. This is I think is excaberated even more by the fact that you don't see these kinds of relationships with the race and gender factors inverted (Asian man/white woman) anywhere near as often. In fairness though a lot of their anger isn't exactly poorly placed and without good reason. There are unfortunately a lot of white guys who date Asian women exclusively and a lot of these same guys are in all honesty dorks whose interest in Asian women comes primarily from what they have seen in pornographic magazines and videos and Hollywood images (think martial arts films, Tia Carrere, Lucy Liu, Joan Chen and you'll get the idea) and yes a lot of these same guys are also looking for Asian brides. Add all that in to the very nasty things that go on in a lot of Asian countries (prostitution, trafficking of women in the sex trade)as well as the prevalent stereotype of Asian women as demure, submissive and exotic and it's not hard to see why a lot of people aren't crazy about these relationships.

And I'll bet there are plenty of folks who aren't crazy about gringos and latinas together either. Though coming from Canada with a much smaller Latin population than the U.S, I admittedly don't know much about this.

I wonder how the Asian guys must feel.  Asian families have a strong desire to have male children which leads to a lot of infanticide for Asian female children (in China anyway).  There ends up being a severe imbalance between the number of men versus women.  If those Asian women marry us then the shortage gets even more severe.  

I have noticed that Asian women have a strong desire for caucasian men.  I think part of the desire is to blend in better with our culture.  Part of it us being bigger and stronger.  Another thing I've figured out is that Asian men have a low sex drive compared to caucasian men.  I've read the statistics and verified it with people I know.  If you're a caucasian man you can get a really nice looking Asian girl even if you're average or nerdy.

A friend of mine was stationed at Okinawa, while he was in the Air Force.  He told me once that the Japanese girls had a thing for guys with chest hair.  The more a guy had, the more the girls wanted him.  I'm guessing they attributed chest hair with virility or something...

In some of the Asian woman/white man couples I see every day, you see very pretty petite women with some of the ugliest and pudgiest guys I've seen since high school. All ages no less.

I think AW think they are better than Latinas and Asian women but RW are caucasian and maybe seem more threatening.  The first time I went to Asian my boss kept saying the women treat us like we're gods or something.  It's just amazing to be treated so much better because you're an American man.
