I would like to know how many here have applied for a fiancee visa more than once. For a different fiancee. I know the idea is to get it right the first time, but that doesn't always happen. And the visa app asks if you have done it before.

Has anyone who has followed this road more than once had their previous app questioned while working through a later app? And with the previous app, did the fiancee return within the appropriate time. And/or was there a completed marriage with the first one before going for it again?

Thanks in advance to anyone willing to answer this one. My interest here goes beyond curiosity. Technical detail will be appreciated!

... in response to How many times?, posted by LTB on Feb 5, 2002

I submitted an application for a woman from Ukraine.  It was approved, she received her visa, and came over.  However, for reasons that I won't go into, we did not marry, and she returned to Ukraine.  About 2 months later, I submitted another app for the same woman.  It was also approved, and no questions were asked by the INS or by the Warsaw Embassy.  Everything was cleared up to the interview.  However, she did not attend the interview, as the relationship "fell apart" at the last minute.
Would I go through the process again for a different woman?  Maybe.....but, I certainly learned a lot in the process.
