I think it is funny how some people have one perspective on the RW and AM pursuit of happiness, while others have a completely different one. Some of these are negative, and some are positive. I am no expert on life, and the fact that I am married to a RW does not make me an expert, nor does it qualify me to be a judge. Each man is different, and each woman is different regardless of where they were born.
Those that shine a negative light on RW/AM marriages have no right to instantly judge that these are marriages based on the RW needing a green card, and the AM is a desperate male that has no chance with women in America. Unfortunately this is sometimes the case, but how often has it been said by both men and women here in the states that all the good ones are taken? Trust me folks these same words are spoken in Russian!
I for one am more tired of hearing how the RW are here only for a green card. If one such girl comes here for this purpose it has a way of making all RW look this way (one bad apple can --- ) Well I'm here to tell you that the ladies I've known and met have all had a decent life in their country, and we AM are not saving them from anything other then a life of growing old alone, that is to say if the girl is your average RW. My wife for example does not like any attention given to her because she is Pretty, she prefers to live life with a purpose and not be judge because of her looks, or her country of birth, she only desires lives basics, and that is someone to come home to, and a team effort to a better future.
(very natural among any couple)
It is sad that there are desperate men that are losers in American standards, and it is sad that there are self seeking women from the FSU, but it is even more depressing that there are those that must spread only negative perspectives on to anyone that will listen to them thus making those that hear this stuff feel like unwelcomed social outcast when in fact they are admired by those that are lucky enough to get to know them.
