Well- Im married now so I guess that qualifies me as a new vet- a vet with alot to learn but at least I have taken the plunge- and not after a quicky romance either- after over a year and a half of emails, phone calls, trip and being together-

The wedding was a blast- it was great but it had more plot twists then a corny hollywood movie- god was good to us and we had wonderful weather for it and the first day of the honeymoon- unfortunately the second day it rained. We had a church wedding- because it was the first wedding for both of us and I wanted the video and the still photographer to get great pics for her mom and dad back home in Ukraine. Guess what???  I live in a small town but the minister informed me that one of the retired ministers was ukranian- so we had the service both in english and ukranian!!! great for her mom and dad back home.

The wedding was alot of work- I was responsible for most of it though I did get some help... Im glad it went well...  I had a bit of fun!! My best man and best friend for over 30 years who I usually tell everything to.. did not know I was getting married... I told him an hour before the wedding... his family was in on it... boy you should have seen his face... my wife said that he was really craning his neck to see her.. to see what she looked like when she came down the entrance to the altar to the tune of Here comes the bride. I have never pulled a trick on him before and it was great fun!!

To conclude: I am humble and I realize marriage is alot of work, patience, understanding and most important love with alot of luck thrown in as well... anyone who disagrees should seriously consider not getting involved with a FSU girl or for that matter any woman!! Just my opinion... as has been said before--- your mileage may vary.
all the best,
Keith

I was looking at some of the archives and I see how long you've been at it. Good job.

Take care.

Congratulations Keith.

Please keep coming back and post about this phase of the journey. Keith, I can not remember what age differences you are your wife have. Can I intrude to ask?

Good luck to you both.

The subject was supposed to read congratulations and best wishes.  (I keep threatening to learn how to type.)
