Okay, I looked and couldn't find an answer.
We got married have the paperwork and are ready to submit it. But the Ki is no good in a little more than a week. How do we ensure that it gets to INS on time? The instructions state that we can not file after the k1 expires. Do we go to the local office, even though they say we can not file there, is the postmark enough? Any help would be nice, thanks.

Don't worry.  As long as you got married within 90 days and file for AOS within six months you're o.k.  When I filed Fedex lost track of my package and it was not received until a month after the 90 period had run.  INS advised me of the six month rule.

I don't think the date you got married will be an issue. What we had to do ( last August ) here in Ohio was mail in our application, and the fees to our local service center, and then they will mail you a receipt with the best time for you to come to their office, and you must bring that receipt. Do a search for the INS web sight and find your local office and see what their procedure for AOS is.
